The Greens have other practical ways of stopping the coronavirus pandemic as well as giving them money.

Shortly before the Prime Minister announced the broader border lockdown, New South Wales Green Party MP for Newtown, Jenny Leong, spoke at a Sydney demonstration calling on Canberra to lift the travel ban on foreign nationals travelling from China amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Yes. You read that right. Calling on Canberra to lift the travel ban on foreign nationals travelling from China amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Leong questioned whether the travel ban would have been implemented had the virus originated in Europe, according to reports.

“While we should never, ever doubt, that the coronavirus is a very, very scary thing … We should always remember that racism and discrimination also kills, it also causes harm and it also causes damage,” she said.

Yet on Friday, Leong Tweeted this oh so funny and original gag:

Yes. That’s right. When it comes to her political enemies, Leong thinks it’s fine to joke about placing people in an immigration centre she and her fellow party members believe is a hell hole and have been struggling for over a decade to close.

This must be what the Greens mean by “doing politics differently” — making complete bloody idiots of themselves. Hypocritical idiots.
