Freedom beckons for New South Wales. As of tomorrow, residents of that state will enjoy exotic delights such as having up to 10 guests in their homes, 100 mourners at a funeral, enjoying a drink with friends or a dip in an indoor pool. A fortnight after that and the kidlets will be back in school.
Meanwhile, in Victoria… Or from Victoria; some polling from the Herald-Sun last week that didn’t seem to get any traction elsewhere:
Less than a third of Victorians believe the risk of Covid is worse than the economic impact of lockdowns.
A new Bastion Insights survey revealed that Victorians were most likely to agree that the economic costs of lockdowns outweighed the risks of coronavirus, with 49 per cent supporting the proposition.
Just 30 per cent disagreed and 21 per cent were undecided…
Funny how news that doesn’t fit the approved narrative doesn’t seem to get much circulation.
