The first week of September marks not only the first anniversary of the election of the Abbott Government, but the seventy-fifth anniversary of Britain’s declaration of war against Nazi Germany. So last Wednesday could not have been a more appropriate day for the launch of a new exhibition at Old Parliament House, about the first Menzies Government 1939-1941.
