According to a new study … It’s amazing just what one can conjure with those five short words. A little tweaking of the x and y-axes, some imperceptibly slanted questions, the audacious use of just one figure or factoid and the world’s your oyster — or at least a good slab of tomorrow morning’s media.
Well, according to a new study — a study by public broadcasters, to be precise — “countries with strong public service media have less right wing extremism“.
So, Saturday’s terror raids in Victoria and the charging of a man allegedly affiliated with the “Reclaim Australia” movement didn’t just occur because what Gerard Henderson would describe as “the Abbott clerical dictatorship” allowed all sorts of awfulness to flourish.
They must have also occurred because of the Abbott clerical dictatorship’s cuts to the ABC.
Clearly.
