I think we all agree a deal needs to be done asap away from article 50, before article 50 is submitted.
The UK should not rely on the ‘goodwill’, of which there isn’t much, of the abandoned spouse, unfortunately I have seen enough divorces to know that that would mean very destructive non productive to either side negotiations and a bad settlement.
