I was talking largely of the refugees stuck in camps in places like Jordan, or just displaced in their own countries. That is where you see the women, children and older men.
You are quite right of course, the so-called refugees who arrive in Europe are almost all young men and quite clearly the vast majority are economic migrants or much worse.
