Couldn’t agree more. Gloves merely prolong a fight to allow more head-shots* (*brain-damage) and increase the entertainment value. In a bare-fist fight, punches are delivered more frugally; hopefully avoiding broken metacarpals, fingers, lacerations & friction burns.

(broken nose | cheek | jaw | eyesocket) < bruised brain < brain damage
