The great Italian film director, Bernardo Bertolucci died on Monday.  The bloke is hardly cold and the savages are already shitting over his corpse.

SJW’s took to Twitter to condemn Bertolucci for filming “the rape’” of Maria Schneider in the Last Tango In Paris. 

This would be justifiable if it was factual but fortunately it’s fake news.

Schneider was never raped.  It was only a depiction of rape.  In a rare interview, Schneider said:

Even though what Marlon was doing wasn’t real, I was crying real tears. I felt humiliated and to be honest, I felt a little raped, both by Marlon and by Bertolucci. Thankfully, there was just one take.

For many years, rumour had it, that Brando and Schneider had real sex in the film.  But Schneider nipped that in the bud.

Not at all. There was no attraction between us. For me, he was more like a father figure.

Charlotte Clymer who writes for the Human Rights Campaign was only too happy to jump on the bandwagon and spread lies on the day of Bertolucci’s death.  But she was only one among thousands.

An actual rape?  Talk about Chinese whispers and a distortion of the truth. Did all these fake-news tweeters have a perfunctory glance at an article about Bertolucci then pen a tweet?

To disperse such a blatant lie about a great artist on the day of his death is absolutely abhorrent.

And to compound the sin, it reduces the ‘lived experience’ of rape survivors.
