Criticising PETA—the extremist animal liberation organisation—is kind of like shooting fish in a barrel. Because they routinely come up with suggestions so ridiculous that they make most people as mad as a hornet. Just consider their latest offering of vegan ‘Newspeak’ in which they equate speciesism with racism. No, seriously! In a tweet titled “Bringing Home the Bagel”, the group said:

Why do people like this want to suck the joy out of everything? This is precisely why vegans need to eat more bacon.
