Iran attacks – as America’s left wing stops flying

As Iran fires off missiles at US military bases — but avoiding the big ones with lots of American soldiers — in retaliation for the Qassam Suleimani killing, we wonder if the crazier left-wingers will keep activating mouth before engaging brain?

Presidential aspirant Bernie Sanders compared the killing of Iran’s terrorist and military leader Qassam Suleimani to the actions of Vladimir Putin “like Russia does that, assassinating dissidents”.

On MSNBC the other day, Daily Beast columnist Jonathan Alter was sceptical that Qassam Soleimani needed to be dealt with. So, he posed this thought experiment: “Let’s assume for a minute that he was at the Baghdad airport and deserved this, okay. Let’s just stipulate that. Let’s just say maybe it was the right decision to take him out. But you have in that case right decision, wrong commander in chief.”

Alter would no doubt take his idea to its logical conclusions and go on national TV to state that delivering historic low levels of unemployment across the US and general economic growth was the result of right decisions, but by the wrong President. Likewise things like Trump’s First Step Act which reforms the federal prison system and seeks to reduce recidivism. Trump must stop doing the right thing….

These are just two of many, many examples of left-wing folk sinking further and deeper into Trump Derangement Syndrome in the wake of the Soleimani killing. The American left-wing has now completely stopped flying.
