News.com.au had the headline: “Blokes big winners under tax cut plan but women get screwed.”
Samantha Maiden reported that proposed tax cuts, designed to stimulate a flagging economy, would benefit men twice as much as women.
“The reason is based on the simple arithmetic that men tend to earn more than women and are more likely to be high income earners,” she wrote.
