The North American Scrabble Players Association, has issued a list of 236 banned words – all deemed to be ‘offensive slurs’. The list is itself secret (presumably because even seeing such words would be catastrophic for the sensitive souls being protected). However, you can gain access to the list of banned words on a sealed section of the NASPA website (reminiscent of the ‘sealed sections’ of Cleo).
