Is it just me, or have others noticed that heterosexual couples have lost access to the words ‘husband’ and ‘wife’? Those words now appear be restricted for the exclusive use of the gay community. Married gay couples appear to insist on them—he will talk about his ‘husband’ and she will talk about her ‘wife.’
