Herding sheeple onto the vaccine treadmill

When it comes to Covid, the numbers never seem to add up

‘We want to see your smiles; masks are optional’ read a sign in Adam Creighton’s hotel in Miami, Florida. At the height of the fourth ‘wave’ in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis came under vicious criticism for rejecting federal guidelines on vaccine mandates and restrictions. In an attack ad, as a flight lands in Florida, the captain warns: ‘You have the right to infect whoever you want whenever with Covid-19’. DeSantis politely but firmly explained that the virus swells and recedes on its own logic. Stay calm and carry on, this too shall pass. His new surgeon-general, the Nigerian-born and Harvard-educated Joseph Ladapo, is the ‘anti-Fauci’ in consistency of message and focus on data instead of the career bureaucrat’s tendency to tack to the prevailing political and public opinion winds. Stanford epidemiologist Jay Bhattacharya tweeted on 28 September that over-65s had suffered higher Covid mortality rates in locked down California than free Florida.

The illogical, science-denying and data-defying push for near-universal vaccination of entire populations continues its destructive march through Western societies. In the UK, official statistics show that between 9 October – 6 November, of the 3,297 Covid deaths among over-50s, 2,683 (81.4 per cent) were double-vaxxed. Yet according to the approved and only-permitted narrative, vaccines keep us all safe from Covid, which is why we must all get it. But they don’t protect us from the unvaccinated, which is why we must implement vaccine passports. Right, got it.

In Australia and New Zealand, it’s wrecking families and friendships. PM Jacinda Ardern openly admits to creating a two-tier society divided by vaccination status. The UK Health Secretary has urged those eligible to take the booster to avoid a return to winter lockdown; eligible travellers who refuse to be triple-jabbed could face a return to isolation and testing restrictions. In this Covid-1984 new normal, adults making decisions in the best interests of their body and family are selfish weapons of mass destruction who must be outed, shamed and cancelled; personal health is no longer private; and the vaccine-hesitant – not those granted immunity against legal liability, who push mandates for injecting everyone with a drug cocktail using revolutionary new technology – are immoral and reckless with everyone’s health.

Bhattacharya tweeted on 29 September: ‘Fact: Someone sitting in a room filled with Covid-recovered people faces a lower Covid infection risk than someone sitting in a room of fully vaxxed people who have never had Covid. Lesson: Get the vax esp. if vulnerable, but nix the irrational vaccine mandates & passports’. Despite his explicit lesson, Lisa Dresner replied: ‘So you think that people who have never had Covid should just wait till they get it’? Is it any wonder we despair of detoxicating the cult followers? Similarly, the ‘Zero Covid absolutists’ of the Scientific Advisory Group on Emergencies (Sage) have the chutzpah to accuse the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) of being ‘anti-vax’ terrorists who use children as ‘human shields’ to protect adults. Why? Because the JCVI says Covid poses a tiny threat to 12-15 year olds, vaccines also pose the risk of rare but serious side effects and allowing the virus to circulate naturally could give them strong immunity without the risk of side-effects and also protect adults. The UK data is backed by an FDA analysis (26 October) showing vaccinating one million boys aged 5-11 prevents one Covid death, 67 ICU stays and 156 hospitalisations, but with 57 extra ICU stays and 203 hospitalisations due to myocarditis/pericarditis. These are not compelling figures to support mandates. Moreover, catching Covid in childhood will make them less vulnerable as adults. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health has urged an end to Covid testing in schools because it’s forcing very low-risk children to carry the burden of the pandemic and seriously disrupting their education. New research shows only six healthy under-18s died from Covid between March 2020 and February 2021 and 99.995 per cent testing positive survived, against over 1,100 heart deaths, 1,200 from neurological conditions and over 450 from respiratory illnesses. The number awaiting treatment for eating disorders has doubled.

On 7 November the Canberra Times had a dispiriting headline: ‘Canberra parents question whether to travel with unvaccinated young children’. Who among the politicians, health experts and media will be held accountable for the misinformation that has created this level of ignorant fear in the community? On 31 October, the twice-vaccinated and double-masked White House press secretary Jen Psaki revealed she’d tested positive for Covid. Rather than question the ‘pandemic of the unvaccinated’ narrative, she gushed: ‘Thanks to the vaccine, I have only experienced mild symptoms’. Yet, 99 per cent of the infected experience only mild symptoms anyway. If the vaccines worked as claimed, US deaths should have been much lower this year than last. Instead by 11 November, it had 57,529 more deaths than in all of 2020. This doesn’t sound like a ‘vaccine victory’.

Over 10,000 physicians and medical scientists have signed the Rome Declaration (26 September). Reaffirming loyalty to the Hippocratic Oath, it calls for no forced vaccination of healthy children, no restrictions or vaccine mandates for unvaccinated Covid-recovered people and sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship. Jim Barson, a senior Australian doctor, notes that even with 909 Covid deaths, Australia’s total of deaths from all causes was 8,001 fewer last year than in 2019. Moreover, with 695 deaths in residential care, Covid deaths outside residential care were less than from traffic accidents, alcohol and drug abuse and suicide. In the UK and US, age standardised death rates in 2020 were the same as most years before 2008 and 2004, respectively. Even among the elderly, where Covid deaths are heavily concentrated, with the average age of death being above life expectancy, ‘over the course of a year you are no more likely to die from Covid-19 than from anything else’. He wryly comments: the ‘most common symptom of Covid is feeling well’.

Vaccine manufacturers have achieved a unique marketing/lobbying trifecta. They convinced the authorities to change the definition of a vaccine as the existing wording excluded mRNA vaccines, convinced the public that the failure of their products is due to people who haven’t taken them and persuaded governments to supplement the two-dose ‘full vaccination’ with booster shots. Consider this: Australia’s total population is 25 million. On 25 July, Morrison boasted that with additional purchases, Australia’s total Pfizer doses had increased to 125 million. That’s five shots just of Pfizer for every man, woman and child. What does the government know that it isn’t telling us and how long has it known this?
