Did you know that being vaccinated against the Covid virus is mandatory in Australia? You didn’t? Well, neither did I until I read the reasons that Alex Hawke, Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services, and Multicultural Affairs, filed in the Federal Court for revoking Novak Djokovic’s visa.
At paragraph 22, Mr Hawke states: ‘I consider that Mr Djokovic’s presence in Australia may pose a health risk to the Australian community, in that his presence in Australia may foster anti-vaccination sentiment;’ to which he added some particulars, like people refusing to be vaccinated or those not having a booster.
