Mulling over the recent Andrew Thorburn injustice, I reflected on a photo on my computer. Say ‘Hello’ to a boy named Danjuma Shakuru. Christian agency Voice of the Martyrs reports that he is famous for his ever-ready smile of joy. It’s a somewhat angelic beam don’t you think? At 13, he was critically wounded in an attack on his village in Northern Nigeria.
