We now live in an age where words are violence. Where hate speech is not just vile, but illegal. Where free speech is encumbered with so many legislative ifs and buts that it’s rapidly losing meaning. The great tragedy is it feels like there are less and less people willing to stand up for a belief that previous generations fought and died for – the right to think and say what we believe.
