In the latest woke madness, an American author has claimed that the desire to be thin is actually a result of white supremacy. In her book Fat Talk: Parenting in the Age of Diet Culture, journalist Virginia Cole Smith, who identifies as ‘small fat’, argues that fat phobia, or ‘anti-fat bias’ can be linked directly to the end of slavery in the US.
