The lefty Labour leader flew to Scotland on a private plane to make an announcement about his ambitions to set up a publicly-owned ‘GB Energy’ company — but was curiously reluctant about revealing his mode of transport, with a Labour spokesperson eventually admitting:
Yes, we did use a private jet because we needed to get very quickly to Scotland from Wales...
