JD Vance, unveiled last night as Donald Trump’s pick for vice-president, has claimed that Britain is ‘the first truly Islamist country that will get a nuclear weapon’. Vance made the comments at a National Conservatism Conference in Washington on Thursday. This is what he had to say: ‘I was talking with a friend recently.
