While the Labour lot try and prepare the nation for Wednesday’s Budget announcement, the Prime Minister has had yet more bad news. According to one poll, Sir Keir Starmer has had the biggest drop in approval ratings after winning an election than, um, any new PM in modern times. Talk about a short honeymoon…

Starmer saw a post-election high of +11 in July, according to More in Common, after his party’s landslide victory.
